A name or location entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep a local log of the terms entered in those boxes.

The published material identifies official routes for Trimble County records through the sheriff, Circuit Court Clerk, Kentucky State Police, CourtNet, KOOL, and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or into criminal-history files about other people. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Kentucky's Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, governs public agencies rather than this private website, and KRS 61.878 recognizes exemptions that can protect private information in public records. Those laws do not turn a request to us into a government open-records request.
